Mission/Vision/Values

Mission

To serve as the local leader in South Miami-Dade for effective collaboration in raising caregivers’ awareness and coordination of prevention and intervention services for children and families in their local community.

Vision

Families will maintain children’s safety in their own homes by enhancing natural family support and accessing local community resources.

Values

Community Partnership: The Network is built on community partnerships. Each partner signs a memorandum of agreement confirming its embrace of the mission and vision of the program. Our partners bring a rich variety of critical local resources and services to the families we serve.

Excellence: The Network believes not only in quantity but, more importantly, quality. To that end, the Network has adopted a strong Continuous Quality Improvement program, giving the Network strong footing to engage in community participatory research and setting clear goals yielding successful measurable outcomes.

Innovation: Given the social dynamics and cultural diversity of the communities we serve, it is imperative the Network is innovative in its approach to help communities and families achieve freedom of choice and self-determination.

Knowledge: By creating a coordinated system of care and a single-point-of-access to appropriate and needed services, families will increase their knowledge of local community resources ultimately reducing referrals to and dependency on child welfare.
